Ouch, hope you feel better soon dude. I got some interesting information about another possible location for LUG meets while at the BBC party, there's a book shop in Bold St with a community meeting room downstairs apparently. They even have some Ubuntu machines in there, I was asked if we were responsible for that. I have the contact details and a note from one of the Manchester Free Software guys to give to the owner. I'll email you the details :)
